Job Summary:

We are seeking a meticulous and strategic Logistics and Procurement Specialist to manage our supply chain operations efficiently. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in logistics, procurement, and inventory management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Procurement Management.
• Source and negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best pricing and terms.
• Evaluate and select vendors based on quality, cost, and delivery performance.
• Develop and maintain supplier relationships.
• Logistics Coordination:
• Plan and manage all logistics operations, including inbound and outbound shipments.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders and carriers to ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Monitor and report on transportation costs and performance.
• Inventory Management:
• Maintain optimal inventory levels to meet production and sales needs.
• Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.
• Implement inventory control systems and best practices.
• Process Improvement:
• Identify opportunities for process improvements in procurement and logistics.
• Implement strategies to reduce costs and increase efficiency.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics and procurement.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficient in logistics management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
